My name is Kim Campagne. I grew up in southern California and moved out to Colorado the summer of 2008. I learned I had a crafting talent about 19 years ago when I took lessons in tole painting in my boss' garage. I caught onto the techniques quickly and knew I'd be a crafter for life at that point. Not much later I bought a scroll saw to be able to cut my own projects I wanted to do, but went to some hands on seminars to learn how to get the most out of my new saw. From these seminars I was able to make a multitude of variable woodworking designs of many techniques. I had begun my planning on selling my handcrafted items at street festivals and thought that having a variety of crafts at my booth would be a great idea. So I started adding my own handcrafted ceramic pieces to my booth realizing still that I felt like I was really missing something. So after seeing a few booths of jewelry at these shows I worked and going to bead shows with my sister I decided I was going to start making jewelry. Once I started I couldn't stop. The materials and designs of jewelry are unlimited as to what you can make and I'm having the best time of my life now. I only wish I had started much earlier in life as I wonder how I'll ever accomplish all the things I want to make in my lifetime.
My advice to anyone is to find out what your talents are (whatever kind they may be) and utilize them to the fullest so you will experience the ongoing joy and blessings you receive in it.
