Designing Your Own Earrings

With the vast selection of jewelry and accessories these days it becomes difficult choosing things that are perfect for you and you alone. Mass production makes sure that no one has one-of-a-kind earrings. You could change this by creating your own unique earrings using basic materials and your creativity. The great thing about designing your own earrings is you could use any medium such as wire, beads or even popsicle sticks. Several craft shops sell many materials which can be used to make your own earrings including pre-made earring designs.

First, you place the head pins through each of the butterfly beads and twist the wire around at the top to create a closed circle with an opening in the center. There are also a variety of earring designs you can create using beads of all shapes and sizes with a variety of colors to choose from. Many of the beaded earring models come with the pieces already cut and shaped and only require you to add the beads of your choice and lock the pieces together. These usually involve creating a bead color scheme and applying them to hair pins and attaching them to the hanging loops provided.
