Design Jewelry For Yourself and Others

There are great schools that offer classes in jewelry making or design. These classes will allow you to take what was just an idea and make it a reality. Most classes will supply you with your own workbench. Class prices vary greatly but that is because most of the schools that seem to be the most expensive supply you with all the materials to start making jewelry in class as well as all of your proper tools. Other schools of design will require you to have your own set of jewelry making tools and be able to pay for the gold or sterling silver you want to use as well as a charge for the stones or gems.

You may already have the creativity to make this work but the classes can polish your technique and help you in making unique and beautiful jewelry. In class you can learn how to properly set the gem stones.
There are many techniques to learn and then you can select the one or ones you are most comfortable with. There is wax modeling with is the method using and making rubber molds.

You will learn how to cut different types of molds from the very simple to the very difficult or intricate mold. You will also learn about the many ways to design jewelry and how to make your own style. Upon completion of a design jewelry term of classes, you should be able to make and design necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets and brooches for yourself or to sell to others.

I read your article on Magnetic Anklets. Very interesting. I have been wearing copper lined and magnetic bracelets on both arms. I had a knee injury and had a lot of pain, especially living in a tri-level house and going up and down the stairs. Wearing these bracelets on both arms has relieved the pain in my knee. I just might try an anklet also.
